Many of you probably already know all about this, however, I did not. This is where I found the solution for me: I own (leased by paying for it) CS6, and Nik 1.2.11 would install and work fine in CS6, so I have been using CS6 to access the Nik suite.

However, having CS6 and current PS CC caused strange things to happen with PS and Bridge. I am using Windows 10 (64 bit) In the past, each time I would re-install Nik 1.2.11, it would install, however, Nik Silver Efex would not work, and it would not install at all in PS 2021. I own (leased by paying for it) CS6, and Nik 1.2.11 would install and work fine in CS6, so I have been using CS6 to access the Nik suite, after making edits with current versions of PS CC. In the past, each time I would re-install Nik 1.2.11, it would install, however, Nik Silver Efex would not work, and it would not install at all in PS 2021. When Nik asks for the install location, I directed it to:Ĭ:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC), and then followed prompts to install and finish. To get my old version (1.2.11) of Nik working with Photoshop 2021, this is what I did: My apologies if this information is already on this forum somewhere, I searched a bit, and could not find it.
